Fauvism (from French fauve – wild) is a name of a trend in French fine art of 1905-1907 which was presented by A. Matisse, A. Market, A. Darren, and R. Duffy. Fauvism became very popular at the very beginning of 20th century. Fauvists displayed their artworks on Paris Autumn Salon in 1905.
